On the two variants of the Via Claudia Augusta, (1) the “Altinate” from the German Danube over the Alps and Trento to Altino near Venice and (2) the “Padana” from the Danube over the Alps and Trento to the Po Valley (Pianura Padana), you will cycle through the variety of landscapes and cultures that the historic road has helped shape over thousands of years.

The official Via Claudia Augusta bike shuttle will take you and your bike from the south back to the north in an uncomplicated, safe and comfortable way. We are a non-profit organization that coordinates the bike shuttle (transport for bikes and cyclists) for residents and guests of the Via Claudia Augusta, without increasing the cost of the shuttle. The trips are carried out by various dedicated companies, using buses of different sizes as needed.
